Action Steps LLC Information

Action Steps, LLC was founded in 2004 to meet an identified need for technical assistance and staff training to improve performance of Workforce Development agencies and increase the employability of job seekers whom they serve. I am Ben Barnes, and through Action Steps, LLC, I work independently to meet your specific training needs. I worked for state government in a variety of positions related to the United States Department of Labor's Employment and Training and Workforce Development programs for over thirty-three years. My scope of experience includes fiscal and compliance monitoring; program design and implementation; contracting and budgeting; and staff training and professional development. My most recent experience includes being responsible for data collection, reporting, and performance management for WIA at both the state and local level for the last five years of my state career. I have also provided staff training and technical assistance to states and local areas around the country. I am a Certified Public Manager and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Auburn University.? Action Steps, LLC is owned and operated from Prattville, AL.
