Actias School Information

Many Bay Area alternative schools offer flexible academics but no intensive therapy, while therapeutic programs lack a college-prep path. Actias fills that gap as a therapeutic day high school that stabilizes students, rebuilds confidence and belonging, and supports their return to less-restrictive schools with momentum. We integrate a nature-based environment, attachment-focused therapy, strong parental involvement, and challenging experiential academics to make learning engaging and meaningful. Students rediscover motivation, develop agency, and gain the confidence to thrive in other school environments.
