ACT Trade Information

ACT Trade was established in 1986 in Mersin. ACT operates throughout Asia, Europe, America and Middle East as a shipping agent in transit & local transportation sector specialized in chartering fuel tankers and chemical carriers and in 1989, the company became a direct contractor and a project cargo forwarder. ACT has also done procurement services with our consortium partner. In the last 4 years ACT Trade, has delivered around 5000 vehicle payloads to Syria's various parts. Also, along with her regular activities, ACT Trade is supplying and securely forwarding various nongovernmental (NGO), humanitarian organizations’, such as Save The Children, Chemonics, Goal, DFID, Creative, Adam Smith and others’, foods and materials to Syria via Cilvegözü and Oncupinar border crossings, in door to door basis. Some of the inland destinations that we are capable to deliver from Bab Al Salama ( Kilis/Gaziantep border crossing), Bab Al Hawa ( Cilvegözü/Antakya border crossing) from Turkey and South of Syria from Jordan. Always subject to change due to safety conditions: Idlip region, Lattakia region, some parts of Aleppo, any destination closer to the Turkish border. We also do procurement on the behalf of various NGO’s especially for Syria as we are certified to do transit and export from/ through Turkey. We supply and deliver NFI kits for our customer, for example; Hygiene Kits, Arrival Kits, Summer/Winter Kits, School Kits, Activity Kits, Medical Kits and so on. ACT also has contracts with 4 storages (bounded and unbounded) in Gaziantep, Sarmada, Mersin (2 Warehouses) and Reyhanlı (near Antakya). All storages are well-cleaned and organized accordingly. ACT has availability for these storages whenever needed for warehousing for the NFI products to safely protect them until they exit. ACT ables to transport the commodities from supplier to the warehouses in Turkey or Syria and track them until they arrive to the final destination. ACT has also inventory management system to inspect of partner’s warehouses in Syria and Turkey. From 2003 till now, ACT has supplied numerous products and delivered over 20.000 trucks to various locations in Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrein and Syria. ACT has been doing US Embassy Projects as a vendor in Turkey. We have served to US Embassy and British Embassy for transporting their commodities to various countries; Iraq, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Kabul, Afghanistan and Jordan. JOINT VENTURE ACT also has a Joint Venture Company in Turkey with Crown Agents (http://www.crownagents.com). Based on the decision of the Crown Agents and ACT to diversify their properties; they (ACT and Crown Agents) have now established this JV as ‘’CA International Trade and Logistics’’ which is located in Mersin, Turkey. ’’CA International Trade and Logistics’’ is focused on procurement and logistics mainly to serve above mentioned countries as well as the whole region.
