Acquisition Instructor Course Information

AQIC is the DAF’s premier training ground for informed, connected acquirers who are part of a larger network reshaping the way the Acq community interacts with & supports the warfighter. AQIC is a highly selective, 5.5-month course for mid-level professionals in the Program Management, Engineering, Contracting & Financial Management fields. It is the Acq community's equivalent to the USAF Weapons School. The VCSAF & VCSO called upon AQIC to create an avenue for constant operator & acquirer collaboration to fulfill DAF strategic goals, accelerate the kill chain & maintain our competitive advantage - both in air & space. We produce graduates who embody 6 key attributes: Humble, Approachable, Credible, Creative, Collaborative and Influential. Grads make use of their cross-functional knowledge & extensive networks to bridge the gap between the Acq, Ops & Industry communities. Initiating this at the tactical level opens up a world of both formal & informal comm lines that allows us to exchange info & be more effective in the process of innovating solutions to maintain warfighter advantage.
