Acorda makes sending money safe by combining scam signals from both sides of the payment (the sender and the recipient). When you send money, your bank has almost no information about where that money is going. Banks spend £ millions a year investing in scam detection, but with such limited information available to them, banks are at a massive disadvantage vs the scammers. Acorda allows banks and other payment providers to securely share scam signals moments before the money is sent. This greatly improves the amount of scams detected and prevented.
