Specialising in many types of water treatment, Hydro Flow offers a wholistic approach to water treatment taking care of potable water, heating and cooling water systems, legionella and bacteria control, all filtration and reverse osmosis, waste water and ancillary applications such as sludge handling and dewatering. Hydro Flow also provides, installs and services all manner of filtration equipment from sterilisation systems in hospitals, side stream and specialised media filtration, to large scale RO, MF, NF or UF for potable consumption and the food industry. Our chemical range and dosing applications/systems provide customers with a one stop option for management of their water applications from front gate, to the waste plant. We also have a range of sanitation and cleaning chemicals with applicators and specialised cleaning equipment to cater for even the largest food and manufacturing premesis.

The idea for Puratap – a water filtration company that would service and stand by their product – was born of an experience by an Adelaide local in the early 1990's. Concerned about the quality of the tap water in his family home, he began to look for an under-sink water filter. The units he found were expensive with limited options for ongoing maintenance. Additionally, the quality was poor – with recurring issues and leaking. To better meet the needs of the Adelaide market, he began to import a higher quality water filter and sell them to other Adelaide residents with a better warranty and options for ongoing maintenance. However it did not take long to discover that these imported water filters were simply not strong enough to cope with the unique Australian conditions. After much research, the solution became clear. The only way to make a unit to withstand Australian conditions was to design and manufacture it right here in Adelaide. So that's what he did, and Puratap was formed in September 1996. Since then, Puratap has become a household name with many South Australians refusing to drink anything else! By designing, manufacturing and testing the unit here in Adelaide, Puratap has total control of the quality of the unit. Puratap purifiers have undergone systematic refinement and are constantly being tested and improved to ensure that we can offer the absolute best quality on the market.

Aquacure Water Treatment—Our History In 1988, in response to customer demand for increasingly complex and technical water treatment solutions, Ross Tilley narrowed the business’s focus to operate exclusively in this specialised area. With specialisation came a name change to “Aquacure Water Treatment.” 2013 was a milestone year, marking 25 years of operation as ‘Aquacure’ and 50 years membership with the Master Plumbers’ Association. What we do Aquacure designs, builds, supplies, installs and services water treatment components and complete water treatment systems. We work daily with a wide range of water treatment processes including Filtration, Softening, Iron Removal, Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration (UF), Demineralisers and Deionisation (DI), Ultraviolet Sterilisers (UV), Pumping, Chemical Dosing including Chlorine and Chlorine Dioxide dosing, Water Quality Monitoring and more. We specialise in custom designing and building complete water treatment systems; tailor-made solutions to suit specific applications.
