Vision Statement: ACEC Oregon is a community of engineering and surveying companies working collaboratively for the betterment of our profession and the world in which we work. ACEC Oregon is a non-profit organization originally Founded in 1956 as the Consulting Engineers Council of Oregon (CECO). In 2002 it's name was changed to ACEC Oregon (American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon). However, it's goal remains the same: to protect the public welfare and advance the professional quality of private practice consulting engineers and surveyors. ACEC Oregon represents approximately 3,500 employees in Oregon through approximately 100 consulting engineering and surveying firms of all sizes. ACEC Oregon is a member organization of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) in Washington, D.C.
