Profile Ace Tankers was born out of the joint venture formerly known as Chem-Tankers. In 2008, this joint venture was dissolved; the establishment of Ace Tankers ensued. Lead by its CEO - Mr. Yaron Perets, the commercial and operational office of Ace Tankers is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands with additional offices envisaged in the future. It is our mission to expand both internally and externally in partnership with our customers. Business and Principles Shipping over two million metric tons annually, Ace Tankers is the Owner of 20 chemical tankers ranging from 10000 to 38000 DWT. We service: liquid bulk chemicals, CPP, DPP, aromatics, acids, and oil & fats markets globally. Ace Tankers’ fleet is comprised predominately of sophisticated stainless steel tonnage with an average age of eight years. Commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality, and service is paramount. Our operation is service oriented and contract driven. It is our responsibility to provide superior service to our customers and we ensure that their business is our business. Expansion The objective of Ace Tankers is to become a major player in the Chemical and CPP markets globally. This will be accomplished via acquisitions and employment of time-chartered tonnage. Four coated 17,000 DWT new buildings were delivered in 2009; this was followed by the delivery of two IMO 2/3 handy-sized tankers in 2009 and the purchase of two fully-stainless 19k DWT ships in 2010, and 2011. Four additional fully-stainless Japanese built ships are delivered in 2013 and 2014. Ace Tankers is actively looking to purchase additional modern high-spec tonnage.
