Access Tusc Information

Access Tusc is your key to local social service & health resources in Tuscarawas County OH. All of the organizations are here to provide support to the citizens of Tuscarawas County, but sometimes it’s difficult to know where you should go to find the help you need. Access Tusc was formed for this purpose. Approximately 24 partner organizations united in late 2014 to provide a common resource to our community. As a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, we are passionate about connecting community members with the services they need. The Bridges to Wellness Pathways Community HUB is a program of Access Tusc, which links individuals who have medical, social, and educational barriers to resources in: Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble, Tuscarawas, and Washington counties. A Community Health Worker (CHW), will assist the referred individual through 21 pathways to improve their health and help position them towards the path of wellness. The CHW's serve as partners, advocates, and coaches for their clients, guiding them through a process to identify risks, assign them to pathways so solutions can be achieved, and remain available to support clients to completion of pathway objectives. This trusting relationship enables the CHW to serve as a liaison, link, and intermediary between health and social services, and improve the quality and cultural competence of the service delivery. Access Tusc Transit is another program out of Access Tusc which is a Rural Public Transportation Service Provider that has a mission to provide safe, reliable, affordable, and efficient public transportation to our residents in Tuscarawas County. These trips are for Medical Appointments, Employment, Mental Health Counseling, and much more! Rural Public Transportation is desperately needed in Tuscarawas and surrounding counties. We work hard every day to fill the capacity needed in our area.
