Welcome to the official profile for Irish Distillers. Irish Distillers is the producer of some of the world’s most well-known and successful Irish whiskeys and one of Ireland’s leading supplier of spirits.
Formed in 1966, Irish Distillers was born when a merger took place between John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and Cork Distilleries Company. In 1988, Irish Distillers joined Pernod Ricard, gaining access to unprecedented levels of investment and an extensive global distribution network.
Our portfolio of whiskeys is produced at Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork, where we push the boundaries of Irish whiskey production. Whether igniting passion for Irish whiskey with iconic brands such as Redbreast Single Pot Still and Powers, or defining the pinnacle of Irish whiskey with our Midleton Very Rare expressions, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Today, we employ over 800 people across our operations in Cork, Dublin and Belfast. You must be of legal drinking age to follow us. Do not forward to anyone under the legal purchase age. Any user comments which condone or promote irresponsible or dangerous drinking will be removed. Please enjoy our products responsibly.

At Glendalough Distillery, we craft luxury spirits in the Wicklow Mountains, Ireland, using a progressive blend of traditional techniques and innovative practices.
Our approach is rooted in the natural heritage of our surroundings. Inspired by the majestic landscapes of Wicklow, we aim to capture the unique sights, smells, tastes, and sounds of our home in every spirit we produce.
Our Process & Commitment to Quality:
Wild botanicals are hand-picked daily from the surrounding mountains and delivered to our distillery within hours. Our gin is meticulously slow distilled in small batches, ensuring each batch is uniquely refined through expert, sensory-driven techniques.
We mature our spirits primarily in American white oak and enhance our whiskeys by finishing them in secondary—and occasionally tertiary—casks. By incorporating Irish, Japanese, French, and Spanish oak, we create distinctive flavour profiles that stand out in a competitive market.
Inspired by St. Kevin’s enduring appreciation of nature, our work is a tribute to the land. We pursue meaningful innovation, ensuring our products resonate with the rich natural tapestry of our Glendalough.
At Glendalough Distillery, our commitment to excellence and our deep connection to nature drive us to deliver spirits that not only offer exceptional taste but also tell the story of their origin. We are proud to share our passion and craft with a global audience.
