Our mission is to increase the public’s enjoyment and understanding of art. When Tate first opened its doors to the public in 1897 it had just one gallery, displaying a small collection of British artworks. Today we have four major galleries and the national collection of British art from 1500 to the present day and international modern and contemporary art, which includes nearly 80,000 artworks. Tate is a public institution owned by, and existing for, the public.

Since opening its doors in 1999, fabric has been at the forefront of the club culture conversation, consistently backing a diverse range of genres and acts. SPACE is London's oldest and largest artist studios provider, supporting 800+ artists in 21 studio buildings across 8 London boroughs and Colchester. We support professional visual artists and creatives in a number of ways: by providing affordable spaces in which to work; offering professional development training; facilitating collaborations between artists and the communities living near our studio sites; and through advocating for the sector as whole. Founded in 1968 by Bridget Riley and Peter Sedgley, SPACE's core mission is to enable professional artists to remain creating and working in London. We aim to increase the diversity of creative practitioners and to ensure that they are fully valued at the heart of society.
