Academics In Asia is the official recruiting department for foreign faculty at Sias International University. There are many things that makes SIAS unique and a soft landing for expat faculty. * a community of 140 expat teachers and their 40 defendants. * openings for foreign faculty not just in the School of Foreign Language, but in Business School, Music School, www.FHSU.edu professor positions, campus maintenance, Library Services, International Networking, Fundraising, and administrative leadership positions. * 10 expat admin providing support and supervision. (5 expat Academic leaders, Liaison to Chinese admin, events coordinator, an activities director, and HR team who do recruiting and interviews of new faculty) * best in country Oral English program with 55 Oral English teachers with students enrolled in weekly Oral English classes for 2 years. * an American Culinary Master Chef providing new recipes for our catered meals (3 meals a day, 7 days a week). * extended holidays for expat staff (6+ weeks in the Winter and 9+ weeks in the Summer). * opportunity to sign a 2 or 3 year contract to give faculty an additional 1-2 months paid salary. * opportunity for expat faculty to fly home in time for Christmas every 3 years. * a legal support team of expat volunteers representing all faculty for legal support and continued improvements to our contract. * Host to Orphanage Camps like www.bringmehope.org, Women's Leadership Clubs www.globalinteractions.org, CEOGlobal.org Leadership Elective Courses, SIAS-Amidi Business Incubation Center and AUAP Higher Ed Conferences. AIA is now recruiting Academic and Oral English faculty year-round. We have developed dozens of school partners who are interested in employing our former teachers and teachers that we recruit who need more teaching experience before joining SIAS staff.
