Acacia Academy is a year-round private school for grades 1-12 and offers Transition Programs for ages 18-22. Acacia Academy is AdvancED accredited and located in La Grange, IL. The Illinois State Board of Education has approved Acacia Academy for out-of-district placement for special education. .•The accelerated and/or gifted student to challenge his/her thinking skills within particular subject areas •The regular education student to meet his/her academic goals and potential •For those with Learning Disabilities, Autistic, Intellectually Challenged, and Attention Deficit student who would benefit from a personalized program designed to meet their individual needs •Instruction is designed to strengthen skills in reading, math, writing, spelling, language skills, fine motor skills, processing abilities, speech/language, and social skills •Transition services and work study programs are available The Achievement Centers, Inc. is a diagnostic and tutorial clinic that services students of all ages in all subject areas. Established in 1970, the clinic of The Achievement Centers offers the following diagnostic services and personalized evaluations: •Psychoeducational Evaluations, Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy Evaluations, Social Assessments •Reading, Writing, Math, and all Content Subjects •Study Skills, Thinking Skills, Learning Disabilities •Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Regular Ed, Gifted, ACT/SAT Test Prep Acacia Academy's proficiency is a direct result of the quality of our staff.
