AC Foundry was established in 1962 and purchased by the Melling Tool Company in 1998. ACF is an engineering driven company focusing on heavily cored, complex castings. Today ACF is focused on providing a quality casting through the use of engineering, simulation, modeling, APQP, and lean processes blended with the traditions of metal casting. We are implementing new ideas and advancements in technology to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, capacity and the quality of your castings. Our continued efforts in processing improvements have resulted in increased productivity and shortened lead times as a result of staff and production personnel collaboration. Our strong relationship with Western Michigan University College of Engineering and Applied Science has given us highly trained engineers and interns that drive our business. Our engineers have brought new ideas and technology to pair with generations of foundry knowledge that have made ACF a leader in producing complex aluminum castings.
