Pieter Abts, as the founder of the company, had wanted a trustworthy and client-focused company that would serve as a caretaker for people's wealth. As he felt the need for a company which offers tailor-made services and genuinely cares about each of his clients thoroughly, Pieter founded Abts & Partners in 2000. After consecutive successful years in business in Luxembourg, Abts appended Abts & De Maertelaere in Switzerland and Abts Analysis Services in Monaco, in order to enhance the scope of his services and make the existing services more valuable.
