Absorbent Minds Competitors

At Kendalwood, we believe that our job is to inspire children to become the best students they can be. With a curriculum that focuses on developing the intellect as well as nurturing self-esteem, academics are taught, curiosity is cultivated and respect is fostered. This approach, coupled with our newly renovated campus, creates an environment where students flourish and develop a lifelong love of learning As Durham Region’s only fully accredited Montessori school licensed under the Day Nurseries Act, Kendalwood’s facility and program standards are inspected and monitored by the Ministry of Child and Youth Services, the Ministry of Education, and the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators.

Sunrise Montessori School in Markham is one of the best private schools in Ontario. Driven by our motto “Education for Life”, our programs and our staff are dedicated to providing your child with essential skills for lifelong learning.

We opened our doors at Monarch Park Montessori (MPM) in 2012, as a school for toddlers and preschoolers. We strive to offer parents an unparalleled learning environment for their young children using the time-tested Montessori philosophy, and its specialized pedagogical apparatus. MPM is a fully licensed child care facility, licensed under the regulations of the Ministry of Education - Child Care Licensing System, in compliance with the regulations of the Child Care Early Year's Act (CCEYA). Our beautifully appointed classrooms and carefully prepared environment is designed for young and capable minds to explore, absorb, and excel.
