McTaggart Group employs circa 330 people and is made up of 6 businesses, the largest and most prominent being McTaggart Construction. The other companies are sub-contracting businesses and include McTaggart Civils, McTaggart Scaffolding, ABN Services and Tod Timber Engineering plus Laurel Homes, our private homes brand. This in-house capability affords us greater control over quality and programme throughout the lifecycle of a project, from early identification of risk and opportunity in the pre-development stage, right through to timely and proactive management during the defect liability period. McTaggart Construction builds over 500 new homes each year, 90% of which are for the affordable housing sector. Laurel Homes is the private housing brand of the McTaggart Group and has been established since 1979. Offering superior specifications and workmanship in highly sought-after locations, Laurel Homes multi-award winning homes include apartments and family homes. As one of the first and last trades on any site, we established our civil engineering and groundworks contracting business in 2008, giving us greater control over risk and quality. McTaggart Scaffolding provides traditional and kwik stage system scaffolding services, temporary shoring and support works, edge protection and fall arrest systems. ABN Services is the electrical, plumbing and mechanical services company within McTaggart Group with experience across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Tod Timber design, manufacture and build timber framed buildings. Working closely with architects and engineers, we transform these visions into homes that comply with the highest standards of sustainability and certification.
