Ablepreneurs® is a social enterprise built from lived experience, compassion, and a deep understanding of what it means to navigate work while managing disability, chronic illness, or neurodivergence. We exist to create accessible, capacity-friendly pathways into meaningful work — particularly freelancing, self-employment, and flexible project-based roles. Our work centres on three pillars: Empowering disabled professionals with confidence, clarity, and practical support. Connecting lived-experience talent with small businesses seeking reliable, human-centred support. Building a national movement that celebrates capacity-honouring work and challenges outdated assumptions about productivity. Underpinned by The Ablepreneur Advantage - writtent by Helen Pugh Our Mission is: To create accessible, capacity-friendly pathways into meaningful work for disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent professionals by offering practical support, community, and opportunities that honour health, creativity, and lived experience. Our Vision is: A world where disabled and chronically ill professionals are recognised, valued, and supported — not in spite of their lived experience, but because of the unique strengths it brings. A world where work is flexible, human, and designed to fit real lives.
