Eton College
Founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, Eton College is a boys’ boarding school with around 1,300 pupils, situated across the river Thames from the pretty Berkshire town of Windsor. Throughout our history, we have been one of the leading independent schools in the UK and we continue to provide a stimulating all-round education, coupled with academic excellence. Our academic success comes from a deep commitment to learning and independent thought. Our pupils benefit from the intellectual quality and inspiring teaching of Masters who are passionate about their roles inside and outside the classroom. Our broad co-curriculum enables pupils to identify and develop their own skills and strengths within a supportive environment. Led by House Masters and Dames, our 25 boarding Houses offer communal identities and, alongside our co-curriculum, support the positive development of character and attitude. Approximately one fifth of our pupils currently receive financial aid. See our websitefor further details.

Wellington College
Wellington College is a school like no other. Where many focus on examination results and view league table position as the main criterion for success, the whole ethos of Wellington is focused on each and every individual who passes through our gates. We want our pupils to be inspired by everything they do at Wellington, both inside and outside of the classroom, so they leave school as interested and interesting people. We want our pupils to adopt a genuinely intellectual approach to their academic work and to their view of the world around them, in the knowledge that a Wellington education is only the beginning of an exciting and life-long journey of learning. We want our pupils to become truly independent, as those who can think, learn and cope independently will be the leaders and game-changers of the future. We want each and every pupil to be valued and developed as an individual, so their Wellington experience is much more than just going to school – rather, it is the journey to self. And we want our pupils to be inclusive in all dealings with other people, so they leave the College not in a bubble of privilege and elitism, but with the ability to engage with their local, national and international communities, and with a burning desire to do good in the world. Will you let your child join us on that journey? It could be the most inspired choice you ever make.

Shrewsbury School was founded by Edward VI by Royal Charter in 1552, and it was identified as one of the ‘Great’ public schools by the Clarendon Commission 1868. 2024 was a remarkable year for Shrewsbury pupils, with 87% progressing to their first-choice universities and 19 pupils accepted into North American universities, including two at Harvard. The School sits on a stunning 110-acre campus perched above the banks of the River Severn, overlooking the historic market town of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The RSSH (Royal Shrewsbury School Hunt) has the distinction of being the oldest cross-country club in the world and is officially recognised as a World Athletics Heritage site. 11 professional cricketers in 11 years have progressed from the school, including James Taylor, Joe Leach, Ed Barnard and Issy Wong.
