When AHS first opened its doors, it consisted of nothing more that a rented room in George Street, Aberdeen and a determination to provide the best service possible for its clients. Very quickly AHS' reputation grew not only amongst its patients but also among fellow professionals. In 1983 Richard was joined by his eldest son David who had worked on and off with him whilst still at University. Upon qualification David felt that AHS could best service its patients by expanding slowly into the whole of the North of Scotland. Consequently, from 1985 - present day AHS has developed a network of new offices, dentist, opticians and pharmacy's to offer a "door step" service to its many thousands of satisfied patients. In 1988 Richard's other son Geoffrey was recruited into the business and has helped it become the operation it is today. Geoff, in particular, has helped forge close links with the NHS Grampian and supervises our contracts with the NHS. David on the other hand has supervised the overall development of the company, and in particular the growth and expansion of our patient services. In 1998 Jayne Bryce joined AHS directly from on of its suppliers and has proved an invaluable asset to the company. Jayne has overseen the training and Audiological education of all members of staff and in fact, tutors medical staff on Audiology. AHS and its various locations prides itself on providing the most advanced hearing systems and services that are currently available anywhere. We service the whole of the North East of Scotland and run regular service visits to a number of centre at the following locations:Banchory, Turriff ,Buckie, Elgin, Forres, fraserburgh, Huntly, Inveruire, Peterhead, Keith and Stonehaven. We also cover the Highlands & Islands (Orkney, Shetland & Stornoway) on a regular basis. We have a committed office in Inverness, open Monday - Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. With our continued development plans in Scotland we will, I am sure, be helping you at one of our new centres shortly. As Richard Bryce always said "bigger is better when it is done well!".
