As the leading independent precious metal refiner in Australia, ABC Refinery has been involved in the refining and processing of precious metals for primary gold and silver producers and the secondary market in Australia since 1978. ABC Refinery is the exclusive producer of ABC Bullion product, now a cornerstone of the Australian physical gold trading system. ABC Refinery is the only independently owned Australian refinery to be included on the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA)'s Good Delivery List. ABC Refinery is accredited by the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) and COMEX (CME), and is a member of the Singapore Bullion Market Association (SBMA). ABC Refinery employs proprietary aqua regia, electrolytic, electro-parting and chlorination refining methodologies to refine gold and silver to four nines standard—and services private and publicly listed miners, producers, corporations as well as government agencies. ABC Refinery's laboratory is the only Australian refinery laboratory to have been awarded National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accreditation for the laboratory analysis of gold, silver and their alloys. The ABC Refinery laboratory is also accredited as a Public Testing Service, compliant with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 17025:2005 for the analysis of gold, silver and their alloys. In addition, ABC Refinery is accredited as compliant with Australian Standards (AS) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).
