Aase Haugen Senior Services is located in beautiful Decorah, IA and offers a continuum of care - a complete system of coordinated services following a vulnerable population through the aging process and through the various levels of care within an organization. It is more than just a collection of fragmented services, but includes mechanisms for organizing resident-centered services and operating them as an integrated system. We provide Compassion and Companionship, Healing and Hope to all we serve. That was Aase’s vision, that is our Christian ministry, that is the best of ourselves we can give. In efforts to realize Aase’s Christian vision for Aase Haugen– we care and advocate for those we serve to ease their challenges and help them and their families adjust to changes in their lives so that seniors going through the aging process do not have to do so alone. Aase Haugen Senior Services, as a Continuing Care Retirement Community, strives to offer seniors all the components needed for healthy aging, nurturing the body, mind and soul with compassion and companionship, leading to healing and hope. We offer our knowledge, compassion and experience to everyone in the Aase Haugen Family through every change, to guide them and advocate for them through the unfamiliar and often confusing process that is senior care. In addition to offering a continuum of care, Aase Haugen has also been rated as a 5-Star facility by the CMS. We are dedicated to providing our entire staff with the education and opportunities they want and need to make a career and not just a job! We offer a CNA Step Program, which is a three-step program that allows CNAs to improve and develop various skill sets, which also comes with compensation increases for each step. Further, Aase Haugen offers Gerontology Certification and IV Certification, and we also provide scholarships from CNA to LPN or CNA to RN to help offset the cost of education.
