A&A Elevator was founded in 2010 by brothers Joe and James Atherfold, who saw a market for an independent elevator company in Ottawa and the surrounding area. The experience of working for larger elevator companies highlighted frustrations for both the clients and the mechanics: miscommunications, too many middlemen, wasted time and a lack of attention to detail would frequently cause jobs to go over budget and behind schedule. Joe and James knew they could provide clients with better service, and A&A Elevator was built on that principle. By 2012, additional mechanics and staff joined the company to help support the growing business. With over 70 years of combined experience, we have a vast wealth of industry knowledge and the capacity to provide our clients with exceptional service. Our EDM-A licensed mechanics are efficient, detail-oriented and highly knowledgeable in the field. And because of how quickly we can work; we're able to save our clients' money. In fact, A&A Elevator has never had a job go over budget.
