A3S is an Association of Research and Development (R&D). We believe that by promoting social entrepreneurship and the sustainability of the third sector we are consolidating more sustainable, fairer, equitable, collaborative and inclusive development alternatives. A3S was established in 2006 as the result of a collective and shared project. Since the begining, the intention has been to work with and on behalf of the third sector organisations, in order to enhance the investment, knowledge and recognition of these organisations. The A3S, as a non-profit association, is a social entrepreneurship organisation seeking to create added social value and opportunities to intervene and innovate. A3S acts as a social entrepreneur in search of opportunities to intervene, innovate and, hence, create added social value.
