Gamby Mortuary has a long heritage of service to the South Bay starting in 1936 with Albert Monroe Gamby and continuing after his death with his wife, Evabell Gamby. Donn and Irene McKnight had been with the mortuary since 1957 until their retirement in 1998. Currently, Karen McKnight-Sisneros and Larry Hawkins own the mortuary, keeping the firm "family owned and operated". This stability means we will be here to serve you tomorrow, just like we have been for over 65 years. Lori Zankich is the office manager and has been with the mortuary over 25 years. Steve Marcom, funeral director/counselor, brings his experience to Gamby's from a family of funeral directors.
