We serve authentic Taiwanese bubble tea! Bubble tea has been a trend coming over from Australia, USA and Great Britain and now has established for quite a while in mainland Europe. The name covers a wide variety of refreshing flavored fruit and milk teas, served with tapioca balls as a finishing topping. The tapioca are a starch-based product made out of cassava. Together with its chewy texture, being fat free, it combines perfectly well with the fruity and milky flavors of the bubble tea drink. The 8tea5 concept is based on inspiration, fun and respect and we truly have translated these values into our store design. The raw, but still colorful and simplistic design of our store creates an unique environment for our guests to enjoy and experience bubble tea. Since bubble tea has been founded in de 80s, the customer experiences the product in an 80s influenced environment. Come by and taste the inspiration! 8tea5 Antwerp opened its doors on the 8th of June, 2013 at the Korte Klarenstraat, a trendsetting street located in the heart of Antwerp. 8tea5 The Hague opened its doors on the 18th of September 2014. It is located in the heart of the city center in the newly extended part of the Passage between the Grote Marktstraat and Spui. 8tea5 Brussels opened its doors on the 18th of August, 2015 in the Galerie du Centre, very near La Grand Place, a UNESCO world heritage. 8tea5 Ghent opened its doors on the 24th of February 2018 in the sparkling city centre of Ghent very near the crowded Korenmarkt and the Architecture Campus of KU Leuven.
