72 Dragons is a film community and a production company. We are committed to facilitating a world of young and experienced filmmakers in the creation and distribution of their own original content. The world has changed. Social Media, iphones, production software; all now enable people to make content and deliver it. 72 Dragons is committed to providing a framework for filmmakers to enable them to be truly independent. Our communities allow people to meet and take away the middle men so they can connect up. We will progressively offer more online options to facilitate and help people plan, write, prepare, and even secure equipment for their shoots. We offer real world options with events in real life and the means for people in locations to meet each other and share similar interests and combine creative vision. All the details of filmmaking can be overwhelming. But the core of it is artistic endeavor, creation, and communities of like-minded people with complementary skills achieving a film or video vision together. The Dragon Community – our foundation is in our local Dragon communities around the world. These communities utilize a combination of social media and real-world events to connect and cross fertilize content and ideas. 72 Dragons Productions – because 72 Dragons is also a production company with its own larger projects underway, we bring experience and excellence to the table to mix together with talent and expertise located all around the world across our film communities. As a dragon community we encourage all forms of content and expression that push the film world forward or just give people the chance to practice and execute their content creation skills. As a production company we focus on projects where good and evil are never quite clear and beauty combines with darkness to discover color and creative richness.
