Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is the nation’s leading organization advancing the development of academic, social, and emotional competence for all students. Our mission is to make evidence-based social and emotional learning an integral part of education from preschool through high school. Formerly known as the Character Education Partnership, we have relentlessly advocated for character since 1993 -- because we believe character is at the core of who we are. Today, Character.org creates and shares resources that support people around the globe, including our 11 Principles Framework for Schools: A Guide to Cultivating a Culture of Character.
