50 Entertainment was a Minneapolis-based, diversified music & media company - pioneering an innovative business model that capitalized on the intersection of digital and entertainment. Distributed globally via Sony RED NYC; artists on their roster included White Light Riot and Elevation - both bands having charted nationally on all three charts at specialty radio, and receiving high rotation on college radio. Artists represented by 50 Records have received favorable reviews and featured stories across the globe - from the New York Post and National Public Radio - to almost every news and arts publication local to Minnesota. 50 Records album releases have been in collaboration with the best of the best, including: Grammy Award-winner Adam Ayan (The Rolling Stones, Nirvana), famed producer Mark Endert (Madonna, Maroon 5, Rihanna), Grammy winning mastering engineer Bob Ludwig (Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Sting, KISS, RUSH), and Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, A Rocket To the Moon). 50 Records organized and hosted multiple high energy events at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, and was a major contributor in organizing the 10,000 Lakes Festival. 50 Entertainment's advertising client roster included: Oreck, Target, Best Buy, Rusty Horseshoe Co., and North Point Design.
