Clean Laundry is a simple idea. If you go to a place to get your clothes cleaned, it should be clean. It should be fast, comfortable, and do the best job ever washing and drying your clothes. It should be a pleasant, comfortable place that’s safe, secure, and that provides great value. We then added some additional requirements to our list. We wanted to use Iowa-made and we wanted a “Green” store that reduced the use of water, gas, and electricity compared to older, less efficient facilities. What we ended up with is the new Clean Laundry, and It’s About Time!

Sunshine Laundry is a fourth generation Hartford business, established in 1917. At that time Sunshine's neighborhood included farmers, horses, and cows. The convenience of home washers and dryers had yet to become a part of our daily lives. Therefore, Sunshine began to meet laundry needs by servicing the families of greater Hartford. As times evolved so did Sunshine. Today Sunshine serves the New England states as one of Connecticut's largest linen supply companies. We specialize in helping you make all events elegant. In October of 2008 Sunshine suffered a devastating fire. This forced our location to change. Remarkably, the fire occurred on a Friday night and all of Sunshine's staff and trucks were operating the following Monday, at a temporary location. Although the fire forced us to change location, Sunshine's superior consistent customer service has remained consistent. Sunshine's foundation is built on service, and t quality.
