Røde Kors er verdens største humanitære organisasjon og er politisk og religiøst uavhengig. Siden opprettelsen har Røde Kors organisert mennesker som ønsker å yte en innsats for sine medmennesker. En moderne hjelpeorganisasjon Norges Røde Kors er en moderne hjelpeorganisasjon med ca 150 000 medlemmer. Organisasjonen ble stiftet den 22. september 1865 av statsminister Frederik Stang, og er en av de eldste nasjonale Røde Kors-foreningene. I 1907 ble den autorisert av Det Kgl. Forsvarsdepartement som en frivillig hjelpeforening for den militære saniteten i tilfelle krig.

Save the Children is the world's leading independent organization for children, fighting for children's rights and for children to reach their full potential and live a dignified life, no matter who they are and where they grow up. We protect children in war & conflict, help reduce the occurrence of diseases such as pneumonia, diarrhea and malaria and ensure good quality education. Recognized for our commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration, our work takes us into the heart of communities, where we help children and families help themselves. We constantly find new ways to reach children who need us the most and lead the work to reduce the negative effects of Covid-19; on poverty, learning crisis and violence and abuse. We wrote the treaty that describes the rights of every child and for a century we have stood up for children and made sure that their voices are heard. With the children on the team, we collaborate with local communities, other organizations, governments & authorities, non-profit organizations and a variety of local and international partners while maintaining our own independence without political agenda or religious orientation. Together we achieve lasting positive change for children. Childhood means everything!

NIF er en frivillig, partipolitisk nøytral og uavhengig organisasjon, og det øverste organ i norsk idrett. Den organiserte idretten er Norges største folkebevegelse med 1 900 000 medlemskap fordelt på mer enn 9 500 idrettslag. NIFs visjon er idrettsglede for alle. Idrettsforbundet har i dag ca. 370 ansatte fordelt på idrettskretser, Olympiatoppen og NIF sentralt på Idrettens hus, Ullevaal stadion.
