We are all engineers. We take messy technical problems and turn them into designs, prototypes, and evidence you can act on. We work best with project owners and technical decision-makers when the question still matters: before the path is locked in and the answer becomes harder to change. Applying rigorous, impartial engineering judgment built over a decade in marine renewables and complex R&D, we find the options, establish what’s viable and why, and present it with a signature clarity, so the client can take it forward confident they are committing resources to the best option available. At 4c, the person a client talks to is the person who knows. No account managers, no handoffs, no layers between the question and the answer. The founders lead technical work, and senior judgment is present from the first conversation to the final recommendation. Our value rests on the reliability of our thinking, which means the answer has to be true before it’s useful. When we say this is the optimal way forward, it’s because the alternatives were considered and set aside. When it isn’t, clients hear it from us before they’ve invested resources in finding out the hard way. If there’s a solution, we’ll find it.
