The largest collection of Telugu movies, now showing at a mobile phone near you! 47mm is the largest collection of Telugu movies, with over 2000+ titles available across all genres and categories: latest, recent, blockbusters, classics, comedy, thriller & many more. Indie movies have a special focus in our apps. With the mission of preserving and promoting regional cinema in the land of bollywood, we have launched our very first mobile app on play store. Currently, we are limited to Telugu language movies for prototyping & POC purposes. We are certainly seeing quite a bit of traction with 300% growth in the initial months of the launch. The app has over 5000+ installs in a short span of 3 months. Built by alumni of IIT Kharagpur with diverse industry experience in e-commerce (Amazon, MakeMyTrip, Myntra) we are looking to establish ourselves in the online video streaming domain. The vision and mission of the company is simple: 1) free and accessible regional entertainment for everyone. 2) fight piracy and promote an accessible platform for everyone: publishers, distributors, & ofcourse the consumers 3) promote regional cinema with the intention of preserving and promoting regional languages Why free? We wish to reach out to the millions of remotely residing Indians who cannot afford the subscription based streaming platforms. Such people often retort to piracy. Why regional? Did you know that over 60% of the Indian population still identify a non-Hindi language as their mother tongue? However, most of the existing players only target Hindi movie viewers. Non-hindi speakers must have the option to enjoy and access his/her native language content instead of being forced to watch Hindi or English language content.
