3D EMS is an engineering company based at the Innovation Centre, University of Bath (UK) specialised in Metal Additive Manufacturing. Additive Manufacturing (AM) a revolutionary technology applicable in a wide range of industries that allows overcoming the limits imposed by conventional production techniques. It is an ingenious process by which digital 3D design data is used to build up a component in layers, most commonly known as “3D printing”. Layer after layer new powder will be fused and therefore bonded to the previous layer until the final object will be completely “printed”.
