2GR Equity is a Dallas/Fort Worth-based private equity real estate investment firm that partners with experienced developers and sponsors to capitalize commercial real estate investments. Since 2011, 2GR has invested $200 million of equity in commercial real estate projects representing more than $858 million in total capitalization. 2GR typically serves as the majority joint venture equity partner, providing up to 90% of the required equity while allowing experienced operating partners to execute the business plan. For our investors, including high net worth individuals, SEC Registered Investment Advisors and Family Offices, 2GR provides institutional-quality sourcing, independent underwriting, investment structuring and ongoing oversight across a diversified range of commercial real estate investments. Our investment strategy is relationship driven. Long-standing relationships with developers, sponsors, lenders, brokers and other industry professionals provide access to opportunities that are often sourced outside broadly marketed processes. 2GR independently evaluates each opportunity from an investor's perspective and invests alongside its investors, creating alignment throughout the life of the investment. 2GR primarily invests in development and value-add opportunities across major Texas markets, with select build-to-suit opportunities considered nationally.
