2adapt Information

2AdaPt is a climate adaptation services company, a spin-off of the Climate Change Impacts Adaptation and Modelling (CCIAM) research group, a reference on climate change adaptation based on the Faculty of Sciences of Lisbon University. The 2AdaPt core expertise is science-based product development and consulting services, to improve knowledge and understanding of climate impacts, for better management and planning of organizations wishing to adapt to climate change risks, by improving their resilience and sustainability. Its products and services integrate both technology and environment know-how to address extreme climate events, that goes from floods (i.e. Downscaling climate projections of extremes; early warning systems; flood risk and vulnerability analysis and visualization) to droughts (i.e. Climate-smart agriculture software that optimizes irrigation needs, real time soil monitoring and weather forecast; consulting, design and adaptive management of ecological regenerative projects).
