I have over 30 years of IT experience including contracts for the Judge Advocate General Department of the Navy, network management and administration for fortune 500 companies and IT support for small businesses. Due to COVID and changes in the IT needs of companies I have transformed the company into a boutique Managed Services provider. The two biggest challenges for companies today are ransomware protection and industry compliance with that protection. Are you aware that if you don’t have proper protection in place your insurance company will refuse to pay a claim for data loss? My specialty is ransomware proof backups and disaster recovery planning. With my protocols, if a client gets hit with a ransomware attack, I can have them back up in hours with almost no data loss. It is unlikely one of my clients would get hit but you can’t protect against employee stupidity or getting sucked in.
