The 212 Wealth Center began in March 2011 when Richard Stock and Douglas Israelsen were working together to come up with a way to pass on their passion of business ownership and real estate investing to anyone and everyone who was looking for a better way. They won’t lie, they had both made some mistakes along the way. They knew how tough and painful it was on their loved ones, their bank accounts. But most importantly on their self esteem to fail miserably in a business endeavor at one point or another in their careers. Although their backgrounds and experience were completely opposite, one thing was certain: they had finally discovered the key to true financial freedom was through real estate investing and real business ownership! They wanted to put together a way and a system for anyone to be able to step into the driver seat, push on the gas peddle and go as fast or as slow as they wanted to. Real estate investing would allow them to arrive at their destination in achieving their goals and dreams much faster! Their goal is to educate as many people about this as possible. For now they are in the hundreds, some day they will be assisting in the thousands with financial literacy. Unfortunately as the economy deteriorated and they saw the deepening recession they realized that what they were teaching wasn’t just a quick fix or a bandaid on a gaping wound. Real estate investing was changing the core beliefs of their students and their community in a positive way. To the point that if the entire nation put into practice the principles they teach, of common sense business and investing techniques then our country would not be in the financial mess it is in. Unemployment would be down. Literally as they thought about all the different jobs that one rehab property provides to the community it’s ridiculous that more people aren’t doing what they are doing!
