1st City Dental's mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis. We have created a practice that we believe in and choose for our own family members. We are a full-service family practice of dedicated, experienced dental professionals who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve their health. Dr. Rex Painter earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from California State University in Los Angeles and attended the Medical College of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed a general practice residency at Shands Hospital through the University of Florida. To stay up-to-date with the latest dental advancements, Dr. Painter is board certified in Implantology and holds memberships with many prestigious professional organizations, The American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, St. Augustine Dental Society, and The Academy of General Dentistry.
