Bachelor Gulch Village has been designed to be the heart of Bachelor Gulch, Vail Valley's only on-mountain ski in ski out community. Located midway between Beaver Creek Village and Arrowhead Village on Beaver Creek Mountain, Bachelor Gulch Village will be clustered around the base of the Bachelor Gulch Express chairlift. Snow Cloud owners will have direct access via the Bachelor Gulch Express to the immensely popular Interconnect, which provides 1,600 acres of European-style "village to village" skiing linking Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead. Snow Cloud owners also are eligible to enjoy the amenities and activities of the Bachelor Gulch Club. These include such benefits as two unrestricted ski passes, access to the private Club Room and the 20,000 square foot spa and fitness center planned within the The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. Also included in Bachelor Gulch Club membership is private on-mountain dining at the recently opened Zach's Cabin, at the junction of Cabin Fever and Stirrup ski runs. Zach's, which currently offers a daily members-only luncheon, is the creation of Vail Resorts Development Company, Bachelor Gulch's master developer. Snow Cloud was designed by the renowned Urban Design Group. This firm has been responsible for some of the country's' most distinguished resort properties, including the acclaimed Wilderness Lodge at Disneyworld. For Snow Cloud, Urban Design created a distinctive architectural interpretation of Bachelor Gulch's thematic motif. Unlike the Tyrolean influence at Vail Village, the southern European mountain village designs at Beaver Creek, and the country club-style of Arrowhead, Bachelor Gulch takes its appearance from the grand lodges of America's national parks.
