1.21 Studios was founded on the love of classic movies. We think back to the first movies that opened our eyes to the magic of cinema. We attempt to incorporate that love into the movies we make today. Our goal is to bring forward the artistic aesthetics, and universal appeal of classic films. We emphasize the use of practical effects to bring a tangible & authentic feel to our productions, engaging our audience with craftsmanship that harks back to an era when special effects were crafted by hand and realized on set.
