The Taste of Mendocino (TOM) is a one-day trade and media event held each year in San Francisco, CA. The event is a joint public-private partnership between VisitMendocino.com (VMC) and Mendocino Winegrowers Inc. (MWI). VMC is part of Mendocino County accommodation trade promotion and MWI represents the county’s wine growers and merchants. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 from 2-7 PM at the Golden Gate Club in the San Francisco Presidio Park. The primary focus is to promote wine and other goods and services of Mendocino County. Although, it’s exclusive to the trade and media for a majority of the day, the event is open to the general public in the evening hours. The purpose is to provide direct access to representatives and vendors of wines, foods and tourism of Mendocino County.
