In 2016, Vescent successfully spun off its waveguide and beam steering technologies. Vescent continues to develop and manufacture CW and mode-locked lasers, frequency combs, low-noise electronic control systems, and micro-optic assemblies for precision spectroscopy, atomic clocks, quantum sensing and computing, and other emerging cold-atom applications.
