Valta ry is an association of students studying Politics, Media and Communication Programme at University of Helsinki. The purpose of Valta ry is to act as a link between the students and the faculty, and to ensure that the students’ interest are taken into account in the decision-making. In addition, Valta ry provides various kinds of activities for its members, such as parties, culture and sports related events and work-life themed visits to different companies and organisations. Valta ry on Helsingin yliopiston politiikan ja viestinnän opiskelijoiden yhdistys. Yhdistyksen keskeinen tehtävä on järjestää jäsenistölleen monenlaisia juhlia, työelämäekskursioita sekä kulttuuri- ja urheilutapahtumia opiskelun vastapainoksi. Tapahtumatoiminnan ohella Valta ry toimii politiikan ja viestinnän opiskelijoiden edunvalvojana sekä linkkinä tiedekunnan johdon ja opiskelijoiden välillä.
