Toward Zero Carbon Ltd is unique in the energy services sector because it combines a broad range of skills and disciplines, which are required to deal with the technical, financial and social aspects of delivering a carbon reduction programme. We work closely with government agencies such as Enterprise Ireland, IDA and SEAI, we are approved to deliver many of their support packages that are specifically devised to assist organisations deliver real and sustainable savings. We always structure our strategies in a manner that will secure the maximum direct financial support for our client. We recognise the need, nationally, to reduce our dependence on imported fossil fuels and therefore we have committed significant time and resources into the development of the biomass supply chain. We are now developing the capacity to offer a quality controlled reliable supply of woodchip which may prompt industry leaders to examine their “renewable fraction”. Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s) which are currently generated on a voluntary basis, we believe are set to become the “Currency” of climate change, TZC is currently working to install the systems that will generate EPD’s for our clients’ product ranges. The challenge to secure capital investment in energy conservation projects is always difficult, principally because of the low cost of fossil fuels. The ROI delivered by the vast majority of projects falls far short of most organisations investment criteria. We have access to funding which allows us structure funding packages which are “cash neutral” for our Clients. Organisations that ignore the challenges presented by Industry 4.0 will, we believer, suffer consequences that will curtail their capacity to compete in tomorrow’s environment. We are working with some of our multinational clients to empower them through deal with these challenges.
