The Future Work Centre conducts innovative, high quality psychological research about peoples’ experience of work. By openly sharing the results and actionable insights, we hope to improve the quality and experience of work, both now and in the future. As occupational psychologists, our focus is on the human experience of work from the perspectives of the employee and the organisation. The workplace is changing fast, therefore how we adapt and grow is critical. The Future Work Centre provides robust evidence-based insights to help individuals and organisations equip themselves for success in the future. We know that high quality research is already being carried out in academic and commercial environments, however, all too often this valuable information remains within the environment where it was created, failing to engage and benefit wider society. We believe there is a gap between evidence-based research and the needs of the general public and key stakeholders in organisations. The Future Work Centre bridges this gap. Our aims and objectives: • To conduct innovative and significant psychological research related to the world of work, for the wider benefit of society. • To openly communicate the outputs from this research to as wide an audience as possible. • To campaign and lobby for the implementation of evidence-based research outcomes for the benefit of society as a whole.
