Swiss Vitamin Institute Information

The Swiss Vitamin Institute (SVI), founded in 1931, maintains a key international position in the analysis of vitamins in food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics. We have decades-long expertise in testing vitamins in various chemical and biological matrices and the state-of-the-art accredited facility based in Switzerland to deliver tailor made added value services to our customers and partners. The SVI offers a quality control service and a seal of approval program to companies to certify either the vitamin content or stability vitamin products ranging from food, vitamin supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals to cosmetics. In the last twenty years the Institute has extended its services to the analysis of biological samples, in particular human serums and tissues and it has been accredited in 2006 by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) as testing laboratory for vitamins analyses in biological fluids in accordance with the Standard ISO/IEC 17025. The SVI is an independent laboratory that is recognised internationally as a vitamin reference laboratory.
