‘Acquire the habit of doing everything well’ – one of Joseph Stannah’s rules of life, just as important in our business today as it was when our founder wrote it 150 years ago. Joseph was an exceptional engineer who turned his hand to everything from hoists and cranes to stuffing boxes for locomotives and lifts for cars. That passion for engineering, for finding solutions, has pervaded the company ever since delivering innovations such as our midilifts and stairlifts. The Product Development department is part of Stannah Stairlifts, the teams cover multiple disciplines including; Mechanical, Electronic Hardware, Software, Test & Development and Product Design. Split into two key areas, Engineering Design and Concepts, the teams work together to keep Stannah the pinnacle of the Stairlift industry and are using their creativity to push Stannah into new Technology, challenging new ways of thinking. We want to expand our team and are now looking for the best and brightest engineers to join us.
