Our unique, patented SMART TAP Procedure® for medical and process piping can eliminate long, expensive shut downs of gas systems. This specialized procedure employs our Shape Memory Alloy coupling technology (SMARTFIT®) manufactured exclusively by STI for use on medical gas pipe systems. The coupling exceeds the standard for a brazed joint and does not generate any contamination during installation. Even better, the SMARTFIT® coupling can be applied without the use of heat, which reduces the risk of fire in a confined space and carbon build up on the interior of the pipe. You'll find added comfort because our SMARTFIT® coupling has been approved by The National Fire Protection Association for use in medical and gas piping since 1987.
