ShelfAware LLC Information

ShelfAware LLC is an industrial automation provider that focuses on supply chain automation. Our patented technology utilizes passive RFID tags to track the consumption of inventory sku's consumed by component manufacturers. Focusing our analytics on this single piece of data, inventory consumption, ShelfAware can automate the entire supply chain process. As a manufacturer you know that your company spends an enormous amount of time, money, and energy managing your small parts inventory. These inventory items are relatively inexpensive compared to the rest of your spend but they are vital to the performance of your products. Historically, manufacturers have looked to their small parts vendors to monitor and replenish these intricate inventories through traditional vendor managed inventory programs or VMI's... The vendor sends their employees onsite to periodically monitor and replenish the inventory. Over the decades industrial distributors have made minor improvements to these old-school managed inventories, including the addition of handheld scanners, barcodes, and custom software. But these attempts at improvement have added very little to the overall performance of the VMI. With a giant leap forward in technology our patented ShelfAware® system is the total solution to this age old problem.
